BACHELOR OF ARTS (Community, Culture & Environment)
This is a unique degree. Australia is its focus yet Australia does not exist in an international vacuum geographically, politically, historically and culturally. The Bachelor of Arts (Community, Culture and Environment) challenges its students to move from the local and the national, to the international, through the three core themes of Community, Culture and Environment.
In this program, you will examine the current, policy-related issues which matter in our culture. You will learn to use a range of research skills, language tools and techniques to analyse your own culture and the ways that it is represented. The degree is interdisciplinary, covering a number of different fields and calling on the skills of a variety of academic staff members. Critical thinking and effective communication skills are vital to all graduates. Employers want articulate graduates with strong research and analytical abilities, they want employees who ask the right questions. Hands on experience with the latest information technology gives graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (Community, Culture and Environment) an edge.
