MOSS VALE EDUCATION CENTRE HOLDS ORIENTATION DAY.

 This year there are 40 new students at the Moss Vale Centre, in addition to continuing students. Of the new students 28 are studying within the Faculty of Arts, and 12 in the Faculty of Commerce.  Orientation Day was held on 26^th February with most of the new students attending.

 The programme for the day included various information sessions including ‘Being a Successful Uni Student’ ‘Learning on Line’ and ‘Student Services’ by the Counselor and Learning Development Officer.

 Lunch was provided and as it was a nice day some of the students took the opportunity to relax in the sun before the afternoon session, an Introduction to the Library and Library Enrolment.

 Some of the continuing students helped out on the day, showing the new students the ropes, especially in the computer lab. These lab helpers are on hand for the first three weeks of session in case some of the new students have any problems.
